Carol Goolsby has a unique blend of professional experiences in higher education, private, public, and non-profit sectors giving her a well-rounded perspective in business and leadership. She is a former small business owner with an entrepreneurial spirit. Her experience in higher education drives her passion to educate, empower, and mentor future business leaders. Combined with her strong work ethic of integrity and excellence, she is committed to the success of individuals and businesses.

Carol holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor’s in Business Education. She served as the Executive Director of the Region 9 Planning and Development Counsel from 2006-2013. She is currently employed as a full-time professor in the College of Business at Shepherd University and a part-time business coach for the WV Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the Eastern Panhandle.

Diego Losada is a real estate investor and developer. He is currently focused on the economic and historic revitalization of Downtown Martinsburg, WV where he owns approximately 90 commercial, office, retail and residential units, including seven Airbnb’s. Prior to that, Mr. Losada was Vice President for Analytics at Fannie Mae where he worked for almost 20 years developing commercial and residential real estate insights to advance the national mortgage industry.

Mr. Losada has a Masters of Arts in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and a Masters in Science in Finance from the George Washington University. He is a father of three and enjoys golfing and outdoor adventures in the weekends.

Hal Van Metre is the Director of Attendance and Homeschool for Berkeley County Schools, bringing a strong commitment to student success and community engagement. A resident of Berkeley County since 1995, Hal has dedicated over two decades to both education and entrepreneurship, having owned and operated multiple businesses throughout the years. He believes in the importance of balancing work with personal life and views business ownership as a shared family journey.

Deeply rooted in the community, Hal and his wife have raised three children, all of whom are connected to Berkeley County — with two adult children working locally and the youngest currently attending Berkeley County Schools. His passion for the area and its people continues to guide both his professional and personal life.

John Ciriello is the founder of Mamba Collectibles located in downtown Martinsburg. Lifelong collector turned shop owner, I created Mamba to be more than a store—it’s a community hub for sports cards, TCGs,  and collectibles for fans of all ages.

Lesley Corinne Lopez is an accomplished professional rooted in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, with a distinguished career spanning education, real estate, hospitality, and community leadership. A graduate of Shepherd University with degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance (1993), Lesley’s early achievements include titles such as Miss Jefferson County, 10th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Queen, Runner-Up to Miss West Virginia 1991, First Runner-Up to the WV State Fair and Festival Queen 1989, and Berkeley County Youth Fair Queen 1986.

Lesley’s journey as an educator in both West Virginia and Virginia laid a strong foundation for her dynamic leadership in real estate. Since 2009, she has been a top-producing Realtor, heading The Lopez Team at ERA Liberty Realty, where her expertise and dedication have made her a trusted authority in West Virginia’s real estate market. She has shared her industry insights as co-host of the radio shows “Breakfast with Lesley and Jamie” on WEPM and “100% Real with Lesley and Jamie” on WRNR, as well as through her podcast, “100% Real with Lesley and Jamie.”

Beyond real estate, Lesley has excelled as an Airbnb Super Host, successfully managing ten properties in the Martinsburg area, along with co-hosting two additional properties for other Airbnb owners. In October, she and her husband, Jamie, celebrated the grand opening of their latest venture, The Young American—a jazz-themed martini bar in downtown Martinsburg—further highlighting her entrepreneurial spirit.

Lesley and Jamie’s love story began at the Marriott in Charleston, WV, where they met during her competition for the WV State Fair and Festival Queen. Now, after 33 years of marriage, they are the proud parents of three children—Ana, Christian, and Kennedy—and grandparents, known as Honey and Pop, to their three-year-old granddaughter, Ashton.

An active community leader, Lesley serves as President of the Perennial Garden Club and Assistant Director of the Shenandoah Potomac District of Garden Clubs. She has served as the Educational Chair for the Prosperity BNI Martinsburg Chapter and has served on the Martinsburg Round House Committee. Lesley is also a member of esteemed organizations including the Shepherdstown Morning Rotary Club, Martinsburg Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Martinsburg, and the Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors.
