H&W Pastures is a livestock breeding and finishing operation located in Hedgesville, WV. Our focus is two-fold: #1. We produce top notch breeding stock to support other local farms and homesteads, and #2. We produce the highest quality meats, eggs, and raw milk available anywhere.
We sell our products direct-to-consumer, on the farm and at the Martinsburg Farmers Market, as well as through local retail outlets. We offer beef and hog shares, goat and lamb by-the-cut, chicken, rabbit, eggs, and raw Jersey milk. We also support your K9 companion with delicious and nutritious dog treats made from the organs and discard pieces from our meat stock.
Fresh from our farm to your table, our meats, eggs, and raw Jersey milk are produced on pasture using regenerative and ecologically sustainable farming practices. Our cows, goats, and lambs are pasture-finished grain-free while our chickens’ pasture diet is supplemented with a custom GMO-free, soy-free, corn-free feed mix.
All of our livestock are hormone-free, vaccine-free, and antibiotic-free and our pastures are herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, and pesticide free. Our grazing system utilizes the livestock to fertilize and feed our soil as opposed to using harmful synthetic fertilizers.
Our goal is to build an innovative mobile farm store to provide our community with easy access to fresh, nutrient-dense meats, eggs, and raw milk, as well as to serve as a platform to educate our community on the regenerative farming practices we use and why it’s important. Our efficiently designed mobile farm store will showcase our products, along with locally produced products which uphold our high standards, while giving our customers a unique farmer’s market experience.
