Martinsburg, WV (November 25, 2022) – The Berkeley County Development Authority is pleased to announce that Candace “Candy” Dalton has been hired as Office Administrator.  Dalton has been serving in this position since October 17, 2022.

Dalton will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures. She comes to the Development Authority with more than 20 years of office administration experience. She served as the Administrative Assistant and Assistant Treasurer at Calvary United Methodist Church for the past seven years.  

Dalton is a lifelong Berkeley County resident and is active in the community, often attending events and serving with local organizations, including Sister ACTS and Calvary United Methodist Church. Dalton volunteers in many roles at Calvary and is the incoming Finance Chair. She also volunteers with the Berkeley County Youth Fair, Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival, Main Street Martinsburg, Faith Feeding Freedom and prepares lunches for Immanuel’s House.

Dalton is excited about her new position stating, “I look forward to this new role with the Berkeley County Development Authority and being a part of the process that brings new businesses and growth to Berkeley County”.
