Build-Up Berkeley - Business Pitch Competition 2026
Local entrepreneurs will take the stage on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. for the Build-Up Berkeley Business Pitch Competition, taking place at the Apollo Civic Theatre, 128 E. Martin St., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
The competition gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their businesses and compete for $11,000 in grant awards, including a $10,000 Grand Prize, $5,000 Second Place Award, $2,500 Third Place Award, and $1,000 People’s Choice Award.
Participants have also benefited from an educational series featuring business education, mentoring, networking, and resources designed to help strengthen their businesses and support long-term success.
The event is open to the public and free to attend. Community members are encouraged to come out, hear the entrepreneurs’ pitches, and support the local business community.
