Five to seven years of progressive supply chain, procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or material-planning experience. Manufacturing experience required. Leadership or management experience preferred. Experience sourcing chemicals, packaging components, or technically specified materials strongly preferred. Strong inventory-management, supplier-negotiation, and financial-analysis skills. Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities. Demonstrated ability to pull, clean, manipulate, and interpret data and use it to draw sound business conclusions. ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred. Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar analytics experience is a plus. Experience in chemical, aerosol, packaging, consumer products, industrial products, or contract manufacturing is preferred.
Lead procurement and supplier management for chemicals, raw materials, packaging components, equipment, and indirect purchases. Own the sourcing of chemicals and packaging required for R&D, customer samples, product development, production trials, and commercialization. Develop sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, service, lead time, and supplier reliability. Strengthen demand planning, material planning, MRP, and inventory-management processes. Reduce shortages, excess inventory, obsolescence, and unnecessary working-capital investment. Evaluate suppliers and sourcing decisions using total cost of ownership rather than purchase price alone. Extract, clean, manipulate, and analyze data from ERP and other business systems. Develop reports, dashboards, models, and scenario analyses that identify trends and support business decisions. Translate complex or imperfect data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations. Lead and develop the Supply Chain and Purchasing team. Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
