Sites In 19 W.Va. Counties Get Business Readiness Grants

Just over $2 million in grants will be used to develop business ready sites in 19 counties, according to a press release from Gov. Patrick Morrisey’s office.
The funds will be used to help meet engineering or architectural needs so multiple locations are ready to accept large-scale projects for businesses looking to build in the state.
“Speed to build is critically important when companies are deciding on a location to do business, build facilities, and create jobs,” Morrisey said. “This funding is going to ensure West Virginia is competitive and well-positioned to attract new industry and investment for years to come.”
